The EFGCP Children’s and Geriatric Medicines Working Parties present a multi-stakeholder workshop on Facilitating Medicines Development for Youth & the ‘Young at Heart’: Learning for Intergenerational Strategies that will take place in London on 21 November 2017.

The development of drugs is evolving and much effort is being put into understanding in special populations like children and older people. When it comes to health and research, those populations share common grounds of vulnerability.
This workshop is looking to tackle some ethical and safety issues that would help to understand and protect both the youth and the ageing populations throughout the whole research process and therefore easing access to innovative medicines to them.

The objectives of this multi-disciplinary workshop are:
- Learning from each other: major stakeholders from the sector will be sitting around the table (academia, regulators, patients, ethicists, pharma industry)
- Sharing challenges
- Detecting possible synergies

Our motto: Where Science and Ethics Meet.
So, join us for this unique event to gain knowledge and network with peers!
